Does My Tree Need to be Professionally Removed?
Reasons for Tree Removal
Here are a few of the more obvious reasons for considering removing a tree from your property.
- The tree is dead
- The tree is unhealthy (check out our previous blog – What’s Wrong With My Tree?! 5 Symptoms of a Sick Tree & How We Can Help)
- The tree was damaged in a storm and is beyond repair
- The tree is growing too close to your home or other structures
- The tree is leaning in a dangerous direction, like towards your home or driveway
- The tree is blocking your views or is creating too much shade and inhibiting your lawn to grow
Not to mention that there are several not so obvious reasons for tree removal as well. For these, it is important to have one of our expert arborists conduct a professional inspection for you.
These include but are not limited to:
- The tree has structural problems, such as interior decay
- The tree is too large for its location and poses a danger if it should fall or drop branches
- A disease or insect infestation will eventually cause tree death or spread to other trees
- There is significant crowding among trees on your property
The Removal Process
Even if you have decided that your tree absolutely must go, you are now presented with an even bigger dilemma. How will you get rid of it? While some people may attempt to tackle this project on their own, large tree and stump removal is tricky, expensive, and dangerous business. If your tree is in a location near structures, the danger of damage exists. If the tree is in a tight location, removing the large sections will be very difficult without the right equipment.
We do not recommend removing a tree on your own or without the help of a certified arborist. We are committed to preserving healthy and beautiful trees however, when preservation becomes impossible or they are unwanted, we remove trees safely without causing damage to property or surrounding landscape.
Our professionals have an understanding of many different tree species in a multitude of situations and have been trained in the safest and most efficient ways to remove them. Here at Advanced Tree Care, we can help you avoid a risky or dangerous situation and bring along the necessary equipment to remove the branches and wood that usually create a big mess on the ground.
